A critical tech reading list for early 2024

19 book recommendations to get you through the next few months

I read quite a lot, and since I write this newsletter and make Tech Won’t Save Us, I’m always at least trying to keep up on what tech books are coming.

This isn’t a list of recommendations necessarily, but books that are on my radar between now and the end of April — some of them I’ll definitely end up reading, some I may never get to, and some may not end up being as great as I expect. But that’s just the nature of reading!

Obviously, I don’t expect you’ll read all of these books, but maybe by browsing the list a few will jump out at you and you’ll end up learning a few new things about some interesting tech topics. Feel free to check back too, because if I find any books I missed in the coming months, I’ll be sure to add them.
